Hong Kong Ph.D. Fellowship Scheme Program 2023

The HKPFS is a fully-funded PhD program that attracts the best and brightest students from around the world to pursue their PhD studies in Hong Kong.

Applications are invited for the Hong Kong Ph.D. Fellowship Scheme Program 2023. Under the guidance of the Research Grants Council, the Fellowship Scheme provides 300 Ph.D. degrees to international students from all over the world who enroll in top-ranked Hong Kong universities.

Note for Students You can apply for a direct Ph.D. program even if you have a Bachelor’s degree. Holders of a Bachelor’s degree, as well as a Master’s or MPhil, may apply for this Fellowship.

The HKPFS provides each awardee with an annual stipend of HK$331,200 (approximately US$42,460) and a conference and research-related travel allowance of HK$13,800 (approximately US$1,760) per year for a period of up to three years.
