PhD position title: Doctoral student in physical chemistry (MSCA COFUND project PRISMAS)
The study will take place at Lund University’s Department of Chemistry, which has affiliations with both the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Engineering (LTH). The Department of Chemistry provides a unique strength for Sweden, with training in all aspects of chemistry and research by globally renowned research groups ranging from basic to applied research. The PhD student will be part of a network of students and researchers in the Division of Physical Chemistry at Lund University. Associate Prof. Felix Roosen-Runge’s research group will oversee the study. The research group focuses on protein structure and dynamics, protein diffusion, phase behavior in protein solutions, and scattering-based assembly processes.

PhD position summary: Doctoral Student in Theoretical Chemistry (MSCA COFUND project PRISMAS)
The Chemistry Department at LU is part of both the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Engineering (LTH). The Department of Chemistry provides a unique strength for Sweden, with training in all aspects of chemistry and research by globally renowned research groups ranging from basic to applied research. The department also houses the most up-to-date equipment for molecular research. There are approximately 500 full-time undergraduate students. In the Computer Chemistry part, we look at statistical physics, suspension dynamics, and quantum chemistry. While we focus on basic research and model development, our methods have been applied to a wide range of systems, including life sciences, clay, mortar, seawater, dental settings, wood fibers, and so on.

Ph.D. position summary: Medical Structural Biology MSCA COFUND project PRISMAS
The PhD student will work in the Medical Building Biology group at Lund’s Biomedical building. The team’s goal is to identify the structural and functional characteristics of proteins involved in cancer and diabetes. The team has a strong track record in structural research that combines X-ray crystallography and single particle freezing with cell biology studies.

Ph.D. position summary: Public international law spec. int human rights law
Those nominated for doctoral studentships must devote their entire attention to their studies. Those with doctoral studentships may, however, focus on teaching, research, and administration to a limited degree. However, work of this sort may not exceed 20% of a full-time position before getting a degree. The PhD student will work closely with the Principal Investigator, other researchers on the project team, and colleagues from the Faculty of International Law and Human Rights when participating in various REF-FIN-related research activities. Researchers and lecturers at the Faculty are expected to contribute to a strong research environment, as well as other Faculty activities, and to work mostly in the workplace.
