We define your permanent country of residence as the place in which you are frequently resident, not the country in which you are simply studying full-time. Students do not need to submit their final grades to apply for a Global Futures Scholarship. If a candidate is still awaiting their results at the time of applying for a scholarship, academic merit will be determined based on expected grades from their school. These are probably determined by the outcomes of any past exams or examinations. Applicants must be independent (unsponsored). Applicants for Medicine (MBChB), Dentistry (BDS), Architecture, or any course with an integrated foundation year are ineligible. By 23 May 2024, applicants must have made The University of Manchester their Final Visa selection. Applicants who have taken courses at a higher education institution in the United Kingdom are ineligible. The prize is not available to applicants for worked or online educational programs.
